This kitchen was a reinvention of an existing room, with each element custom-made to ensure that every inch of space was attractive, practical and hyper-functional. Perfectly designed and arranged for meeting the requirements of everyday life, it creates a space that is both a source of inspiration and calm – perfect for all generations to gather, create and relax throughout the day. Illuminated by large feature windows, floor-to-ceiling patio doors and a statement ceiling lamp, it exudes a bright, airy feel, playfully complemented by the light, nautically-inspired colour scheme and exposed wood that nod to the home’s coastal location.

Mingling playfulness and practicality, this bespoke kitchen features lots of inbuilt storage in a variety of shapes and sizes for neatly storing kitchen wares and foods. Adding a striking dimension, a kitchen peninsula blends seamlessly with the kitchen’s side units and extends into the room. Creating more storage and preparation space, this peninsula also stylistically breaks the room, providing an eye-catching feature and somewhere to linger with a glass of wine while the chef cooks up a storm. Painted in a light, duck-egg blue and topped with a pale stone countertop, each unit also features inbuilt handles to add a fun, contemporary edge to the room.

Adjoining the kitchen through an archway, a utility area flows into a separate space – both extending the room whilst also helping to keep a clean, uncluttered feel to the aesthetic. Maintaining the same colour palette and style throughout, the utility area is handcrafted with full height cupboards and bespoke units to maximise space. As with all of our designs, each unit can be completely tailored to frame or house a variety of kitchen appliances and electrics, including ovens, hob tops, sinks, light fittings and so on. Adopting the same colour scheme as the dining area, handcrafted bookshelves were also made for a unique feature piece.
