This stunning bespoke home office was built for a superb coastal property overlooking the sweeping sands of Treyarnon Bay in North Cornwall. Perfect for those who require somewhere comfortable, functional and peaceful from which to work from home, it was designed with utmost care and attention. Expertly handcrafted in Oak and Ash, the use of light tones, stylistically interjected with darker hues, was chosen to enhance this sense of sanctuary.

Practical yet beautiful, the aim of this design was to provide plenty of built-in storage and shelving for display, as well as creating comfortable workspace. Made-to-measure, it incorporates a desk area, storage units, in-built shelving, and a media display unit that can house all sorts of books, electronics and possessions. Mirroring the fluidity of the ocean outside, each unit features graceful curves for an artistic quality that draws the eye and reflects the seaside location.

“Our original brief to Sam was to design a scheme of fitted furniture with the dual purpose of providing both an office and the framework for a comfortable seating area, from which to appreciate the outstanding views. His innovative design of curved workspaces, flowing lines and open units reflects and embraces the coastal scenery outside. His skilful use of the contrasting Oak and Ash achieves a striking, contemporary look.”
