About this Project
At Sam Walsh Furniture, we design, make and install bespoke furniture and interiors and can work in any space. This particular project involved creating tailor-made pieces to feature in a range of settings within a family home, from purpose-built storage units to beautiful bathroom cabinets.
Designed and handcrafted by our team of highly skilled makers, each aspect of this project was completely bespoke and delivered to meet the exacting requirements of the client.
Purpose-Built Storage
The perfect way to capitalise on space, we made a series of storage units for a family home that enabled objects and possessions to be carefully stowed and presented. These included a hi-fi centre with purpose-built vinyl storage and a full-height bookshelf with a tasteful symmetric design and
evenly spaced shelves. Both crafted from organic sculpted oak and shaped with clean lines, each piece was designed to showcase the natural exposed wood of the oak alongside contrasting green paint in a tasteful dual tone colour scheme. In addition, a custom-made CD storage unit was also
created to fit into a corner, neatly moulded over the wall’s skirting. It was spaced with made-to-measure full-width shelves and painted in the same colour green to create a sense of fluidity and uniformity throughout.
