About this Project
This free-standing, handcrafted media unit was designed for a beautiful home in Cornwall. In harmony with the existing features of the sitting room, the hand-sculpted sides of this unit are made of Oak and left unpainted to complement the exposed wood beams and floors. In a playful, statement contrast that accentuates the natural wood sides and brightens the room, the solid wood doors are painted off-white.
Not just reflecting the identity of the room but the property’s location and heritage too, the TV unit’s wooden doors are finished with bespoke Cornish Tin handles. At Samuel F Walsh Furniture, we use a local Cornish mine for our tin and work closely with them to create our bespoke handles. Further enhancing the organic themes of the room, this bespoke unit is softened with curvy lines for a look that is both rustic and eye-catching.
