These floor to ceiling cabinets and shelves were intricately handcrafted for a coastal apartment in Cornwall. Designed to reflect the spectacular ocean views of the property, the unit’s fluid lines create a gentle ripple effect, mimicking the motion of the sea. Crafted from an elegant mix of Bird’s Eye Maple for the curved cupboard doors and Maple and Oak for the surface and upper shelves, the use of durable, light woods enhances the bright, airy feel inside.

Tailormade to fit the contours of the room, the unit’s shelving capitalises on the full height of the room while the depth of the bottom cupboards is extended slightly. Not only providing more internal storage space, but this extra depth also creates more surface area for placing larger ornaments and electronic equipment. Able to be adapted, similar projects are available in a variety of different woods and colours, each uniquely designed and made to measure.
